गोपनीयता नीति
This policy explains how शिवाजी कॉलेज, हिंगोली ("the school") collects and uses information in its website and mobile app (the "app"). The app is operated by the school for its own students, parents and staff.
Information we keep
- Student records kept by the school as required by Maharashtra education rules: name, parents' names, date and place of birth, address, contact numbers, Aadhaar / Saral / PEN / APAAR numbers, caste and category (only where a government form or scheme needs it), photograph, class, attendance, test results and fee records.
- Admission forms and enquiries submitted on the website or app.
- Login information for staff and students (username or GR number and an encrypted password) and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Technical logs such as IP address and time of sign-in, used only for security.
How we use it
- To run admissions, the General Register, fees and receipts, certificates, online tests and results.
- To send messages about fees, admissions and school notices to parents (SMS / WhatsApp) when the school has switched this on.
- To prepare the data the school must submit to government portals (UDISE+, Saral, MahaDBT, APAAR, the Board).
We do not sell personal information and we do not show advertisements. The app does not use your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
Sharing
Information is shared only with government education authorities as required by law, and with service providers the school uses to run the system (web hosting, SMS / WhatsApp gateway). These providers may use the data only to provide their service.
Security and retention
Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are stored encrypted and staff access is limited by role. Admission enquiries that do not lead to admission are deleted when no longer needed. Statutory records such as the General Register are kept as long as the law requires.
Children
Student accounts are created by the school, not by the child. Parents may ask to see or correct their child's information at the school office.
Your choices
You can ask the school to correct your information or to delete your app account (see Delete account).
